Give your Corvette the Care it Deserves

Good Care Starts at the Pumps
It happens time and time again, some sucker scrips at the gas pump and starves his poor Corvette of the premium fuel that it deserves. Yes, and while the Corvette is a notoriously unreliabile vehicle, many people make their problems worse by doing this, causing an inevitable failure of their engine.

Rough Spots
Every car has it's own ideosycrisies. This is certainly true for the Corvette. And while every area in the cars reliability could be better, the most glaring inefficies are the electrical system and it's components. The only advice that I have for this are is to simply monitor things such as the battery closly. Another problem with the Corvette is the body hardware, which in reliability reports from Consumer Reports have scored dismaly low. The best advice for any Corvette owner is to avoid hard driving, no matter how tempting. Do this and keep the Corvette up to date on all checkups and you should have a faily healthy friend.

This picture to the right (taken from corvette.com, which the pictue links to) details the structure. Come on, all those parts can't work perfectly!
