1994 Black Corvette Coupe
1994 was an average year for the 'Vette. There were no signigicant changes. It was however, two years before the current Corvette design of today.

Corvette History: From the 80's to the Future
In 1984 the Corvette received it's first major restyling in a decade. While it still had a vague resemblence to the previous version, it was more square (see the picture at top of page for more detail). The engine of choice was a V-8 which pumped out a little above 300 horsepower. This design style continued with little interrupition for the next 13 years until 1997 when the current Corvette was introduced. This version was, as the previous, only a slight departure in styling. But changes were more than skin deep. The new 'Vette promised better handling and much faster engines, such as the 450 horsepower V-8 found on the new ZO6 trimline. This has also proven to be more popular than it's creased predacessor, with values showing little hint of diminishing. What is the future of the Corvette. Only time will tell. A new version is due in 2004. (See the What's New Page for more on this.) Hopefully it will maintain two Corvette basics- that unforgetable styling and super hot performance.
